Hakata Style Tonkotsu Yaki Ramen Recipe 

Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg Sun Noodle Tonkotsu Ramen kit (2 portions of noodles)

    For Sauté:

  • Pork Belly, sliced

  • Cabbage, sliced

  • Fishcake, sliced

  • Shiitake mushroom, sliced

  • Wood ear mushroom, rehydrated

  • Oil, for sauté

  • Green onion, for garnish

    For Sauce:

  • 1 cup of Hot Water

  • 1 packet of Tonkotsu Soup Base

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Over medium-high heat, cook pork belly and vegetables in oil until meat is browned. Reduce heat to medium-low.

  2. In a separate pot, boil water and cook noodles for 30 seconds then drain.

  3. Add drained noodles to the pan with sauteed ingredients. Add more oil to prevent sticking and loosen the noodles.

  4. Pour in the prepared sauce, mix until noodles are coated evenly. When the noodles are evenly coated, turn off the heat.

  5. Garnish with green onions. Slurp & enjoy!
